Most potheads I know are both stupid and lazy. Kind of a self-thinking-out-the-herd (not to be confused with The Herd). They take themselves out of the job market and seldom land a highly touted chic (usually another worthless pothead). But the economy would haul in the extra millions. Many become totally worthless P's OS and end up dependent on society to nurse them through their latter years. Millions of the pot tax revenue should be earmarked for caring for this worthless lot of worthless mankind.

Fever you are crazy if you think the republicans ran New York for twenty years. Between 1891 there have been 7 republican mayors of New York. 2 of which switched parties and one that was in office for about 4 months. And currently there are 51 city council members with 49 of them being democrats.

i acknowledge both of them in my previous post. But which is it they destroyed education or turned the city around?

As far as violence goes, yes they made the city a much safer place by putting tons of cops on the streets. Stop and Frisk even though it is racially biased, made the streets a safer place. But the quality of a NYC public school education has gone to shit that people are sending their kids to charter and private schools. Also the Mayors office runs the NYC board of education

The absence of fathers in the households, the rise of gang membership/violence, and substance abuse (drug and alcohol) destroyed the inner city black communities - not laws and policies put in place (however poorly implemented) to stem the tide of these problems.

In my opinion, the A-1 all time big reason lies with the lack of fathers & strong role models in the household. Most of the other problems are spin-offs of that.
