I agree we were gonna see some leave but not this amount. We've had some come to our program and stay for a few years like Harrison and Simmons. I will say that the Athletic Department owes the fan base some amswers even if they're not the ones responsible.

It’s not a surprise to me. The amount of money being promised now far exceeds what was available just a couple years ago. And with coaching turnover it was bound to intensify

Just saying it’s not a surprise when it was made clear Huff wasn’t being brought back and the team’s roster had been completely turned over at the beginning of the season. These kids are going to take a chance (again) someone is going to pay you more money (NIL) having contributed to a championship team.

The issue fans are having is they believe the players legitimately care about MU.
Some do, but most of them are about themselves and what's best for them and their futures.
If Marshall fits that need, they're "MU4Life", if not, well, they're leaving and not looking back.
They could care less about MU...and the fans who trash MU at every bad play or loss, act insulted when they see this.

It really is a cycle of idiocy that is both sad but fascinating to see.

If there is such a mass exodus, that we can’t play the game, it’s almost as bad that we haven’t, as fans, heard a peep from the administration. Not even a single email to all of the folks who paid for hotels, flights and tickets.

No. I think he pulled himself out of games, protecting himself for his inevitable transfer. It was telling to watch him "limp" out of multiple games and not a single training staff member attended to him the last few games.

We had 7-8 guys on our team that are legit portal, get some money, guys. The rest will either get peanuts for a lateral move or get nothing - or find themselves homeless with no team.
