MTSU was a very defensive oriented team, our real test in conference, and with our playcalling at times, a challenge.

Litton and King torched their defense...

I’m loving our kickoff strategy. Nothing like giving the opponent no choice when he catches it on the one. Gotta run into the swarm and maybe get to the ten or twelve yard line. Always disagreed with kicking through the end zone and handing the other team the ball on the twenty-five. A quarter of the offenses job was done.

Commentators kept saying it wasn't worth it to run out of the endzone since each time they got less yards than a touchback.

Also, did anyone otice Litton pump faking and doing it often? For sure it helped the WR's get open.

Remember a few years ago when we couldn’t stop a kickoff return? We prayed the ball went into the end zone. Now it is nice to see the ball come down at the goal line. Our kick coverage is awesome. I am sure we will have a breakdown at some point as it has to happen but they have been doing great. Staying on their assignments and watching the runner.
