the dow is taking (and has taken) a hell of a beating these last few days

Really excited to hear Raleigh’s interpretation of the market when he gets home from Tudors.

clearly you don't have any investments. there isn't any humor in this.
Dude I have more investments than you will make in a lifetime. My guy at Goldman hedged me against this shit a long time ago. Their private client group has customized plans for individuals that think trump policies are full of shit. We’ve seen this shit show before history does repeat itself. Inflation is already skyrocketing however this time much greater.

Scottrade boy you get what’s coming for you.

Good thing I bought all that cryptocurrency this weekend. Well, at least $500 mixed between VEN, ETH, NEO, and BTC.

In all seriousness, I"m long VTSAX. There will be ups and downs, but it's very hard to beat the market. Just ask John Bogle or Malkiel. I speculate with a very teeny tiny amount of my portfolio, but the 529, IRA/401K, and taxable accounts are heavily in low cost index funds.

LOL @ your "guy at Goldman" hedged you. THen you missed out on a bunch of 2017 gains. I bet you pay him a 1% active management fee too. Probably sold you a whole life policy too.

Panic mode sets in. Good lord, emails from the bank. Sit in this webinar discussing market volatility. Good Lord, settle down. This was going to happen as it had gone up so fast.

well, since you're making yours up, i have my doubts.

Real money managers hedged against this greatly. I might not have made as much as having my money in the open market but I’m not open to the volatility that Scottrade Sam is.

Loaded up on PUT contracts on Jan 24th.

How many times over the decades had the Dow had a “profit taking” month in february??

Well, the bank has to sell you some shit.

I still think there is a strong chance of another global meltdown soon. And of course one screw up with North Korea will just kill us all anyway.

Except in subsequent interviews the lady said she was happy to be getting that extra cash weekly. Crumbs or not ever little bit helps. Why is that so hard for your side to comprehend

Because it is crumbs. Because the wealth gap in this country continues to widen. Why is that so hard for your side to understand?

Never said anything about income distribution. Geez you guys are off your rockers today aren't ya. Forgive me if I take issue with 3.5 million people having more wealth than the other 345 million people combined.

why do you take issue with that?

Why don't you?
jesus, are all you lib pansies the same? answer a question with a question when you either don't know the answer, or, in this case, are ashamed of your answer.

i have no issue with it because either they worked for it or their ancestors did. i don't believe in having anything given to me. and, i damn sure don't believe in taking from someone who has worked for what they have and giving it to someone that hasn't, or won't.

now, why do you take issue with it?

How much of that wealth is/was newly created ie Bezos and amazon or wozniak from apple. Its not like those people are just stealing from everyone to get richer. They created something and made money off of it. I know many of you dont like capitalism but "greed" and wealth creation is part of it.
