One interesting thing is that federal financial aid is part of the reason education is so expensive.

College tuition was much more affordable in the past. Tuition increases started outpacing inflation in 1980(two years after federal loan subsidies became widely available). Studies have found that tuition rises about 60 cents for every additional dollar of subsidized loans.

I never claimed to be an expert. You seem to be really defensive here. I'm just stating my opinion and it may be right, it may be wrong to you, I frankly don't care. The wealth gap is a problem in this country in my opinion. You may not think it's a problem and that's fine.

I assumed you would be an “expert” in a business (if) you started, and could share (real) solutions and opinions to the topic (you now admit you fully don’t understand).

It’s not that I don’t think it’s a problem....but it’s a problem that govt will never be able to fix. I’ve never believed holding one group of earners back would ever raise the tide for others. It’s failed miserably wherever it’s been tried.
