When you sit back and look at it, it is basically a circus that is in the stages of collapse. Lies, debt out of control. Ineptness, kick the can down the road, no accountability. Look a the people leading this country. They are not even people are the best. They get up there spend like a whore and some of them go in with a little money and then come out ultra rich. They inside trade stocks when they know something is coming. They do shady deals. The country is so far in debt that it can't get out of it and they just keep doing it.

3 ring circus and it will implode one of these days.

Our government is looking out for its best interest, no longer works for The People and ultimately wants power and control over The People. Sadly, we are handing it over.

Ineffective government doesn't absolve government from liability if these people get ran over, or their failed repairs cause an accident.

If the city is going to get sued, by God at least it should be their own fault.
It’s more about the city union workers not getting overtime pay to stand there with a shovel for 12 hours than it it is about litigation for these people to do the same fix in 10 minutes.

So you just identified 3 of 4 major current problems - lawyers, government workers and the death of self-sufficiency.

You must live somewhere weird. I've lived in more than a few cities and have never seen 12 hours spent on one pothole. It's always a crew moving down the street from hole to hole. But you go on and believe as you wish.

Cumulative hours. I have actually seen six guys watching one guy do the work on some street crews...
