That's almost correct. The scriptures you quoted tell us that women are to obey their husbands, not men. And if husbands do what the scriptures say, it wouldn't be a problem.

If you think you see discrepancies between 2 verses, you can be certain that you don't understand either one or both of those verses. Once again, there are no discrepancies in the Bible. You have simply not attempted to follow at least one (I suspect most if not all) of the commandments in the Bible, particularly this one....

They aren't assumptions, moron. They are facts: Christianity, as guided by the Bible, tells women to be obedient and/or subservient to men, instructs that women should not be church leaders, etc.
Just because people have strayed away from those teachings in order to make their religious beliefs more comfortable in today's culture doesn't make them any less true. Anyone with even an elementary knowledge of the Bible and Christianity won't dispute those comments.

Yes, you most certainly can. Everything the Old Testament said has been fulfilled, and is no longer in effect. The Old Testament was a covenant between God and man and can simply be regarded as true history. Period. We now live under the New Covenant which is contained in the New Testament, and it's teachings and obedience to them is the ONLY thing available to mankind for salvation.
