[GK4Herd]

I saw where it opened the largest grossing Friday in box office history. I'm thinking about going this evening. Anyone seen it yet?


I can't imagine this sequel matching the original idea from the first one though. I hope it doesn't do what many movies of this kind do now and migrate away from the premise in favor of special effects. Not that I don't like well done special effects, just that movies need to have substance in their plots.

I saw it last night and enjoyed it. The premise of the park being a success after the first movie and needing new attractions to keep the large crowds was done well. There were special effects obviously, but at no time did it feel like a transformer movie.
As someone that despised Lost World and the third film, this movie was satisfying.

Don't expect an Oscar winner. The acting is rough but it's a pretty good Summer popcorn movie. Definitely entertaining.

I think it does what it set out to do. I'd definitely put it second of the four. There is some cheesy dialogue here and there, and a couple unnecessary story lines. Certainly worth 10$ to catch it in theaters.
