When did he get hurt this season? Really good news though. If Gant stays for next season the secondary will be the veteran group and talented. The LB group will take a hit though.
The LBs will be a different group for sure, but not sure they'll take a hit per se. Next year's starters have gotten a bunch of playing time, and a couple of them did last year too. (Cobb and Yulee for example.)
Was surprised to see Moody not get another year, maybe he's already had a sixth year. Also, wonder why Dopson isn't getting a medical redshirt year added?

Merrell wasn't injured this year but did miss a significant part of one of his JUCO seasons. That's the season he is getting back.
Also have Breon Hayward and Dallas Martin (who are sitting out as RSs) and Va Tech transfer Tavante Beckett.
Keep an eye on 2019 committed Jeremy Smith. He's enrolling early and could push for serious PT at one of the outside LB spots.
