Mark Richt just resigned at Miami

wow, maybe he decided he didn't need the headache of rebuilding the Canes

Mark Richt is a class A person.
If he decides to stay in (or return to) coaching, any school would be lucky to have him.

A "class a" person doesnt go into high school kids living rooms many times in the last 3/4 weeks and tell them to come to the U on December 19-21 then bail before they even step foot on campus in the SAME MONTH. That not even remotely "class a."

I’m sure the resignation was basically forced after the bowl showing & social media outrage from prominent “U” supporters.

Yeah. Because nothing can ever change for someone personally or professionally in the span of 3-4 weeks.

Ridiculous comment. He was certainly forced out. Some school will snatch him up and be darned lucky to have him shaping young men and coaching football (in that order).

Yeah-a lot of losses and an ass whipping in a bowl game. He quit on his team and even more the recruits.

Blah blah.....he quit after realizing he couldn’t do it at his alma mater like he did at Ga. His recruiting class fell apart after being bad already and he lost most of his staff. Ridiculous my ass.....

I don’t know their staff but their defense was good. Any options there for a position coach to step up to be our D coordinator? May be a long shot since Diaz was their DC and probably likes the staff if he can find a DC to come in and lead them. Too bad the Marshall connections were on the offensive side.

Some around here might say Pruett quit on the team and program. Then some might say the AD called his bluff and forced him out. Two sides.

Hartley is welcome back to The Herd anytime in my book.
Send him a thank you for our 2016 season. He was the RC that recruited most of the recruits that left or didn't enroll that left us short and without depth in 2016. Hopefully he learned something from Richt but I doubt he ends up at MU.
