I think pace of play, who’s giving the most energy, & how the energy is given is most important. If Elmore/Burks has to put on a show to beat Rice, they’ll wear down as competition increases. If they’re able to play a comfortable game, we get some run out points on turnovers, ball movement is creating our open shots vs dribble penetration, Kinsey/West/Williams/Watson give us some production etc, our legs will be fine.

Can’t have Elmore & Burks being ball dominant until the 3rd day.

A lot of Herd subs ate up significant minutes especially in the second half!! A critical factor, IMO, if the Herd is to make a successful 4 game run!

They needed the minutes to just get coordinated with one another...at times they were tough to watch!
