That is one thing that is missing now is a good heated rival. We don't have any. It was nice when an entire league and a lot of people in 4 states hated you.

Yes... I very much miss the days of the MAC as well when it was a blast to have local rivalries and local geography and actually be able to attend an away game besides Athens every two years.

my favorite memory sort of involved Chemist. remember archetype, the awsewipe? he was following your lead in giving Chemist a hard time about being in jail over supposedly being a wife beater, and as luck would have it, I found him online, where he had just got arrested at a WVU football game for exposing himself. archie decided to stop posting shortly thereafter.

I’ll never forget the 90 year old woman in toldeo that told me to F_CK OFF while in line at the concession stand back in 2000 during the 42-0 butt kicking they gave us.

Some of my life friends were met on this board. Of course, I've moved from Huntington and we've all grown up and started our own families. But, I'd like to say my absolute favorite memory with HN friends was hanging out at the "Library" bar in Fort Worth, TX before the worst football game I've ever experienced.
