On track to break 2 records…..

You and Sam are the ones that have given up on huff.
I certainly have not “given up” on CH. It is certainly possible that he reverses his path and begins to beat teams with winning records.

All I have ever said is:

- I wished to discuss the 21 season and the coach for 21. CH. The Doc haters try to drown out this legitimate, thoughtful, and needed discussion of the failed season with Doc bashing. DOC IS GONE. Move on. Let’s discuss the current coach.

- I also am adult enough to reject the Amen Chorus childish babble that it is just automatic that CH, in some unlisted future year, will be super-successful. It is certainly POSSIBLE. It is also possible that he will continue to perform as he did in 21. Don’t know. It is childish, in fact childish to the WVU fan level, to just believe, without any evidence at all, that your coach and your program is just somehow automatically better than its peers.

- I also laugh at the idiot idea that CH was in line for some major job, after his one failed year. I was right.

And, since this thread is actually about BASKETBALL:

- The fixation upon Doc, a FOOTBALL coach who has nothing to do with the basketball program, and who is no longer employed here, is truly near to the mental illness level. Try this, if the thread is about DD, try to stay on the topic of DD. You didn’t like Doc. We get it. It is basketball season and we adults are discussing basketball. Keep it on topic.

- And, yes, I have given up on DD. This guy’s act and gimmick offense have worn out. Time for him to go.

Agree...Doc is history but Dan needs to be relegated to those same pages. Time for a change!

You are wrong, as usual. Fill in the blank: The last men’s basketball game I attended in person was ______________. For me, it was last season at home vs North Texas. hbu?
As usual. When faced with having to admit it has been years since you last attended a men’s basketball game, just ignore. It’s ok Sam - the least we can do is be honest w/ each other!

Admit it - you have been “voting with your feet” for a long time…….

Don’t forget those 8 days, Sam. They were magic!! People that attended the Wichita St game in San Diego not only say that it was unforgettable, but also a “life changing experience”. Seriously. Apparently the fans in Cali really bonded over that historic (for MU) victory. You can fire away at Dan, but you can’t take that moment away. I bet you-all remember where you were and how good you felt when the clock hit 0.00 ……
Yeah and we remember other great moments that teams past accomplished as well. That is but one. Time to move on.
We don’t live in the past but in the present. You know what has he done for us lately?

What the fvck are you talking about?!?! Being realistic and not expecting to go undefeated every years isn’t the same thing as expecting to win the conf. You and Sam are the ones that have given up on huff. You’ve completely argued yourself into a pretzel.
lol you've really shown your idiocy. But I am happy to re-explain myself to help bolster your comprehension of adult topics.
I've been against Goddamn Sam since MU went to the SBC. He's opted to search in the perverbial sofa cushions to find any credibility to give to this sh*t conference and why staying matters. It's made him look like an arsehole quite often and even when trying to be serious about debating it, he shuts down and attempts to laugh in your face.
He seems to have toned some of the conference talk down a bit, maybe he finally looked at a US map, saw the incoming CUSA schools and quietly confessed, "What...the...fvck?!"

I'm all for MU leaving. I didn't like MU not retaining the CoY, but I also get why fans wanted us to move on.
I knew Huff was going to have struggles, he's never been a HC. But unlike some, I didn't go on rants about how poor of a job he did, while others, began entire threads on it.
I also have supported Huff taking the extra bowl game because it helps MU's footprint, it also helps the program, and it'd be a first in the NCAA and for MU. I repeatedly called out posters against it who also claimed to support the program for so long.
I'm not sure if you were one of them, and honestly you don't matter enough for me to look.
The only knock I have against him, was Huff will not stay here very long and his departure does not always need to fill the expectations of the fans. Just be ready for that. As we've seen he was already mentioned for potential HC jobs for the P5. He didn't get any, but knowing his name is already out there, with the record MU had...well, the writing's there.
It actually meshes well with the irrational belief that MU was a destination program but at the same time, a stepping stone.
Doc never left and people couldn't accept maybe he just liked it here...and then Huff gets hired with many knowing he's bolting ASAP, then are perplexed he'd even be considered to leave after one so-so season.
Why would you be critical of a HC not leaving a very leavable program like MU when that's the one thing that will hirt a G5 program...constant gambles on a HC who leaves at any signal of being able to?

That's why the next AD is so important, to inform you what narrative and identity MU will be...and I hope it's a forward one, not a complacent one.

What is there to talk about? You are not my father, I don’t work for you, I have not applied for a job from you. I don’t have to answer questions from you. You don’t matter.

I’m here, in basketball threads, like this one, to discuss the abject failure that is DD’s 21-22 team. Nothing more.

that's good to hear. I'm glad we won't hear you drone on and on anymore about one time, 8 days...etc. the 21-22 failure is the topic at hand, not the all time high for the program that DD brought us to a few short years ago.

Football. Currently have a football coach. He may still recover and do just fine. Don’t know. Ask me next December.

Basketball. Gregg Marshall, if we could get him. Otherwise a top assistant at a top program looking to get a shot.

Another tid bit from the archives: D’Antoni will finish up his coaching career at MU #2 in wins….as well as #2 in losses!

And here we all thought you loved football season results a game or two over .500 winning percentage. How things change
