Still in bed. Woke up in time to watch the last 15 minutes of College Gameday.
About to head down to the farmer’s market to get some breakfast. Then, to the indoor/outdoor gym with the view of the ocean. Then, the pool for 40 minutes.
My MacBook battery has been acting up. So I did what everybody does when their $1800 computer starts acting weird: I just bought another one. But a friend told me that is being lazy, so I have a Genius Bar appointment right before the Marshall game starts to see if they can figure out why my battery is draining too fast.
Leaves. I rake them and mulch them, but it is useless this time of year. Especially when I have the worthless, closest neighbor upwind from me. The wind blows all his untouched leaves down to my place. My everyday fantasy is watching a large claw dropping pieces of his house into a giant wood chipper. I already have a list of trees I wasn’t to plant there.
The top of the line MacBook Pro is $3,999. That is what you should have to maintain your image. Anything else and you’re not much better than the common college student.
Sorry, I lied. I just looked, and it was $2000 . . . six years ago, which was probably around the most expensive at that time. Please note the inclusion of Logic X, music production software. I wonder why I would spend $200+ more for that software if I didn't produce music. Strange, huh?
I know at least three people who use the same software without producing music and just jam. I played with the program at a friend’s place—he also doesn’t produce music with it. It’s an enjoyable hobby, but ultimately nothing exceptional.
