Through five games the OL has surrendered a total of 19 sacks. Those five games include two FCS teams. Do you know how many sacks we surrendered all of last year? 19. So through just five games we have given up the an entire season's worth.
As of right now we are setting a pace of 3.8 sacks allowed per game. That puts us on target for surrendering 46 sacks on the season. To check my math that is 19/5 which is 3.8. 3.8*7 is 26.6 and 26.6+19 is 45.6.
That is nearly the last three seasons combined.
