The move to begin building new stateside chip plants began under Trump. Credit to Biden would go to his continued tariffs on China which continued the move to stateside development.

The PLA ETC just launched their first response to Lai’s recent inauguration by conducting joint drills. And it was serious enough that the AP & other outlets are reporting Taiwan scrambled jets & put their missile & naval units on standby.
