This election was what prompted Biden's quote earlier this week, "We don't support Taiwan's independence".

He should get credit for it - I've never said he shouldn't or that it was a bad move. I'm not against American investment in America.

The move to begin building new stateside chip plants began under Trump. Credit to Biden would go to his continued tariffs on China which continued the move to stateside development.
