They have admitted their nuclear program is military in nature. They appear to be not wanting to give that up.

The US, Israel, and much of the civilized world will not let that happen. Let's hope Mush Brain didn't already let it happen.

The odds of a military option are growing and I would say increasing daily.

As a footnote, the best place to strike Iran from would be from a country called Afghanistan.

Iran is a flea. Without nukes we could completely destroy their military and economy in 72 hours. I don’t understand how some of these countries can be so delusional.

We could do it in 72 hours even if they have nukes. Sure they may sneak one into LA and blow it but that wouldn’t be an L for us

Until the fallout goes north into the San Joaquin Valley and east to the mid-west.

We have no produce for decades, but wait..... We just started a trade war with the world.

Man one of these days you're going to be right. Next week it will be china, then right back to the Iranians.

My predicitions are higher than Rick Barry's free throw percentage.
The old underhand shot. Probably will never see that again. When I was a kid, we had a basketball hoop in the back yard. Often when my dad got home from work, he would walk out to where I was playing and shoot a few hoops. He shot foul shots underhand and was pretty good. Nice memory.

My dad would shoot free throws like that or when we played horse. Cool memories.

We've been told for 30 years they're a month away from a nuke.

Iran is not our friend, but how much of this is Israel and neocons pushing us to fight their battles and/or weaken Iran so their proxies will quit harming Israel?

What do you think, @i am herdman Herdman?

Is it possible they’re coming after Hegseth because he won’t just bomb Iran?

I don't know how close Iran is to an actual nuke. My opinion is that they don't have a fully operational nuke but, I think they have gotten closer. I also believe that window is getting closer to having one or multiple "bombs". Once they have one, it is too late.

I also know, that regardless of administrations, the United States nor Israel(among other countries) would never willingly allow them to have the "bomb". Democrat nor Republican. They are radical and crazy.

I think there is a school of thought in DC that wants to act on Iran now. The danger to that is what happens in the region and how far would it is escalate? Do you just take out their nuke sites or testing areas or do you go for a full regime change. IMO, a full regime change, is perhaps crazy talk and a bad idea. No doubt we could take them out, but then what? Remember Iraq? Iran would be a worse situation than Iraq. Iraq has become basically a proxy for Iran.

There is another school of through that wants a more measured approach right now. I think Trump, Hegseth, Gabbard, some others fall into that. Trump is not pro war or for large military action.

If we do something in Iran, the issue is a large regional mess. But, we can't let them have a nuke.

I'm sure the CIA/Neocons would LOVE to go for full regimen change, but surely we've learned lessons about pitfalls of that.

It is a tough pickle. I agree once they have a nuc that is "too late." Appetite for intervention though is just so low. Geopolitics, ugh.

The report is that the WH has second thoughts about Hegseth. I always thought he was an unusual selection.

Neocons hoping and spinning the narrative…..
I normally would agree but at what percentage or line do you let the nuts in Iran get to in their nuclear weapons development?

From what I gather in the news and media the pieces are being put it place for some type of action. Let's see what happens.

How accurate is the intel that "they're close?"

Is this the same intelligence agencies that run color revolutions all over the place and are interested in regimen change/wars?

So much trust is lost....but if the Nikki Haley arm of the party starts calling people "Iran sympathizers" I start to get really anxious about all this.

My comment was directed more to those buying the current Hegseth narrative.

IMO, the Iranian people want peace and prosperity. They want a thriving country and know that the path is not war or killing. Unfortunately, the nuts that rule them dont mind the seeds of war they are fertilizing.

That's that part that is concerning. My gut is, Trump doesn't want conflict. He never really has. He is probably being pressured in some regards.

But, I don't like the thought of Iran(of all people) having nukes.

One concern that I heard was that Russia and China sign an agreement with Iran similiar to NATO or some pact and an attack on them would be considered an attack on their ally and thus would involve them. I am not sure that I buy that other than the fact the Chinese need Iran for oil and the Russians need them for weapons and a buffer to their assets in Syria. Russia has a major Naval base in Syria among other bases.

Well that’s awfully relatable.
