Impeachment will not confirm anything. It's like being indicted by a grand jury. They believe there is enough evidence to proceed to trial. The trial will be decided by the jury (Senate), presided over by a judge (SC justice)

How is Trump not getting due process? Depositions are being released for public review next week. Trump and/or his counsel can participate in the house hearings if they want.....and the "trial" will be held in the Senate where the Republicans have the majority. That's a bit more "due process" than a normal mob-like bribery case generally receives.
