I agree with that. I don't want to pay for a female soldier to get fake tits, either. To me it's the same principle. We have enough injured and disfigured soldiers to spend the money on.

I agree on the tax part. But let's not act like the military was overrun with trans folks. We have 1.3 million active service members, with maybe 1k to 6k transgenders.

It's more complicated than just accepting a persons lifestyle. The entrance requirements are different for male and female. Females can enter into service with around 24% body fat, males have to be under 16% (this is off the top of my head, numbers might be slightly different). So do we enlist some fat fuk dude just because he's says he's female? Physical fitness is another difference. I could max out a physical fitness test using the female grading standard, those same scores would fail me using the male standard. So maybe I should identify as female and get promoted ahead of my peers.

It's not about feelings getting hurt. For me it's about all American citizens living under the same constitution with the same rights. I've read no studies stating that non straights cause problems more so than straights. So then, what's the purpose of excluding transgenders, gay, etc?

That makes no sense. Transgenders, gays, etc., are already that way. Preventing them from serving in the military doesn't make any of them straight.
When you voluntarilysign up for the military you give up certain rights afforded by the constitution
I think the military should be about fighting wars and defending the country and it's interest.
It should not be about catering to this bull shit.
