Have to admit I’m a little jealous watching their incredible fan base tonight when a few years ago we were making fun of the directional FL schools. And now add to that the money put into USF and their new stadium breaking ground its going to a lot tougher for us to recruit Florida.

Most of that number is online enrollment. They are a public giant at distributed classes; good for them. Plus they are highly involved in MBA and masters level classes for the huge Orlando population.

Glad I attended a smaller university. With that amount of students, how could you ever feel connected to anything. You’re just a number.

I feel connected to plenty of people, organizations, and past professors. It’s not like everyone on campus goes into the same college and track you’re doing. UCF has 6 different campuses including the main Campus, Medical School, Rosen Hospitality, downtown Orlando, and Daytona.

That's actually not true. Not sure how that keeps getting spread around because I've seen some Liberty fans think that as well.

For 2021-22, only around 6,600 students of the total 70k enrolled came from the online programs. There really are just a ton of people on the main campus alone. UCF hopes to keep growing it's online program but it's not quite ASU or Liberty level yet.
