Given the amount of disinformation flowing from every corner, if this was a Russian false flag (& it very well could have been) what is the benefit?
not saying it is but,
1)Russian military now takes control of Wagner. Wanger is a paid mercenary type organization. Think Blackwater but with more direct warfighting capability.
2)Putin gets more power by declaring martial law
3)He can now say he needs more troops to fight war
4)Can blame the west perhaps rallying people at home which influence 2 and 3 above.

None of that makes sense. They could’ve taken over Wagner anyway if Wagner was willing to be taken over, which if they were complicit in the plot then they were. Russia already has an insurrection going in the south and this one is over now so how does it help with martial law? He could’ve said he needed more troops anyway, this didn’t change that at all.
There are a ton of questions and possibilities. None of them are “it’s a false flag.” Putin doesn’t limp off to Belarus in a false flag, he either stands there ready to “defend Moscow” or happens to be nowhere near it anyway.
My pet theory I haven’t seen anywhere is that Pringles wasn’t exactly a willing leader of the insurrection. It wouldn’t be the first time a bunch of mercenaries wanted a change to their lot and “suggested” their leader lead that change. At the tip of the weapon of the day.
