Way too early 2019 bowl projections

Somebody always salts their pre-season bowl predictions with material like this. WVU still has enough clout to avoid this happening.
WVU lucked out and got a decent QB. Without the OU transfer, they would have been lucky to win 4 games.
That's because Holgy relied on QB transfers due to his inability to recruit a high school QB
Somewhat off topic but did anyone see the part about Army?
'If Army upsets Michigan in Week 2 and finishes 13-0 as some folks have mentioned (OK, so I’m the only one who is suggesting this), the Black Knights, as an independent, are not eligible for the Group of 5 bowl bid because they are not in a conference – even if they rank higher than the Group of 5 champion. Army would be eligible for the College Football Playoff if it ranks in the top four, or as an at-large team to the Cotton Bowl, but most likely would need to finish ranked among the top eight or nine teams.'

Army - Isn't beating Michigan. Does have a very light schedule otherwise.
WVU - Why wouldn't it be bowl elligable, this year and every year? It only needs 6 wins and plays in the rediculiously easy Big 2, Little 8. Cupcake city.

WVU is playing a I-AA, two mid-pack P5 schools that graduated everybody, the Big 2, and the other 7 of Little 8, who are there for the Big 2 to feast upon. It is a joke schedule because the Big 2, Little 8 is a joke.
You honestly do not expect WVU to win 6 games? They have 6 automatic wins, this year and every year. 8-4, Cheez-It Bowl. Automatic. A joke league. WVU fans, such as yourself, should be upset if they do not win 8 every year. Minimum.

Sam seriously you need to stop. I loathe WVU and never want to be in a situation of defending them, but to say we have a “great” G5 schedule and their schedule is a bunch of cupcakes is seriously delusional to a level that is seldom seen even on message boards.
You do realize that if we beat any of 7 teams not counting WVU on their schedule it would be considered one of the biggest wins in our history. Only James Madison and Kansas on their schedule wouldn’t be considered at the worst huge wins for our program.
CUSA is the cupcake of G5 conferences. It’s either equal to, slightly better or slightly worse than the MAC and Sunbelt conferences depending on the year. But honestly who cares they all 3 suck as a whole. Take a couple of good teams and sprinkle them in with a bunch of awful teams and that is these three conferences. When 75% of your conference is ranked below 100 then you are in a cupcake conference.
