At some point they Don't Give a ****. It is in their doctrine DNA. Civilians? Doesn't matter. The goal is winning and pounding into submission. They went through it with Nazi Germany and they practice it themselves.

They use artillery to soften up areas. We do too, but they don't care what is in the way. They will do this until they see fit. Old school artillery, rockets, missiles , whatever

They used an artillery bombardment on a maternity hospital. Putin will view civilians as targets or the enemy. This is WW2 type stuff that they went through with the Nazi's.

Male no mistake, Russia is leaving the interent and tv coverage on by design. They could cut it off if they wanted to. Look at this. THis is what artillery shells do. Those dots on the wall ,upper left, are shrapnel. going through mortar. The Russians are bastards, evil bastards. They have just begun. People are short minded and fooled thinking oh it has been 15 days. That is not that long in the size of this operation. With zero air cover and no real way to counter attack other than raids, the Ukraines have no way to stop this really. The Russians can sit out the perimter of town and do it. The artillery is actually good and better than ours in some aspects.

Well, for one they are 15 days in. People think like a fle in terms of time. 15 days.

Plus, Putin is not stupid, don't believe what you here on tv totally. One, if if he nukes, then you have the leftover nuclear waste to deal with. Two, if he nukes we likely do something at that point. I can't imagine the world would sit back while he nuked another country.

The no fly zone is tricky. That is an act of war against Russia. What if the Russians enacted a no fly zone in Iraq? Yehh, we would shoot down their planes.

Second, for a no fly zone you have to have search and rescue capability. That means search and rescue forces and then more quick reaction forces to assist the search and rescue forces. That means you could have ground troops in Ukraine.

What type of No Fly Zone? Just for jets or would you target their convoys? Troops? Their Air Defense Arilltery? Their command and control? Well, just for jets? What do you do when their ADA starts shootting at our planes? Not shoot back? Same for their planes. What are the rules of engagment? You are dealing with a Top 3 military power in the world. Not Kenya or Iraq or Bosnia.

The problem is that if you were going to act tough you should have acted tough months and months ago.
