It pains me to say it.....BUT....they would beat us by 50 plus on a neutral court, 60-70 at Morgantown & at least by 30 at The Cam!!! We have no rebounding (offensive or defensive), can't stop the WVU big or bigger men & we would be terrible at turning the ball over. Their fans are even stronger than our fans. Again, it pains me to say it....BUT you asked and they are the better team and they play in a much, much better conference....end of story!

I don’t know how this season will end up. I will say that everything is still there to take. Win the conference tournament and you are in. The problem has been believing this wagon load of horseshit from CUSA about a second bid for the conference. Most of the schools in CUSA put little to nothing $$$$ in their basketball programs. Don’t believe it....look up their budgets. As a matter of fact look up our budget....it’s not much. It brings everything into focus. You can play POD games from here to the end of time. It’s not bringing the second bid. Win the conference you have the conciliation prize of a NIT bid ....if you don’t win the tournament. PLAY BALL. Go Herd!

In basketball, what "positive" thing has happened with this team since March 18, 2018?
So far this year, this team has lost 13 games, five of them humiliating assreaming beatdowns, including an all time 50 point take down by the mighty 14-9 (lost to North Florida, D II William Carry College, and 9-14 Rice) USM. It has beaten two OVC teams, both with losing records; a very bad NEC team; a bad MEAC team, the MEAC and the NEC having no business in Div I; a losing CAA team; and is one for three versus the lowly MAC, beating 13-8 Akron, but losing to 18-4 Toledo and 11-10 Ohio U, in a league neither will win (Buffalo). In conference it has won games by three, one, one, twelve, eight, and five points, or, put better is a five points from being 7-14 and tied with UNCC (which it beat by one point) for dead last in this really bad conference.
Oh, sorry, we did beat a 19-4 Hofstra from the not awful CAA. I, for one, was not positive enough about our titanic win over the Pride, who drew about 1200 per game to their GYM. Yeah. Sorry. I will be more positive about our next accomplishment. Whenever that might be.
As to the OP's question, while WVU is having a bad year, the idea that they would not name the score, and Thugins being an a**hole, he would run it up as much as possible, is laughable.

You must ask "many" on this site to forgive you.....it appears to me they don't want to see things objectively. The Herd IS DEFINITELY my favorite college team (basketball & football)...but we cannot erase facts. We are not very good this season....UNLESS everyone else is MUCH better.
Everybody thinks those of us who understand basketball, and understand that drawing an inside straight ONCE is not a substitute for proper poker strategy, WANT US to lose. It is like thinking that someone on the Titanic who tells the staff to watch out for ice burgs is somehow happy to see the ship sink.
