1. Exports a deadly worldwide virus but conservatives are the evil ones for suggesting they released it and then covered it up?
2. Ignores environmental concerns and basic pollution mitigation practices but conservatives are the evil ones for supporting the US coal industry?
3. Employs slave labor to put the US and the rest of the world at a competitive disadvantage but conservatives are the evil ones for opposing a $15 minimum wage?
4. Releases huge amounts of toxic plastic waste into rivers and oceans but conservatives are evil for wanting to drink out of a plastic straw?
5. Is spending an increasing amount of GDP on its military but conservatives are evil for wanting a strong US military?

I have been mocked here for saying figures lie and liars figure. But when you consider the personnel cost of the US military to other countries the actual "combat readiness" spending is much closer. We have a lot of high-paid career officers as well as enlisted members being paid more than other countries. This is a good article to put this in perspective.

At 5:28 I mistyped something as I really wasn't awake yet. China's military spending has increased significantly in recent years with small increases when compared to its ever-growing GDP for most of the last 10 years. After all they have started building super expensive aircraft carriers, no doubt with technology we allowed them to steal or have.
