Just saw where the feds froze 2.2 billion dollars of federal aid that was going to Harvard. They are woke overrated school for America haters.

Why are we even giving them that kind f money to start with? Give it to some community colleges or technical schools where people learn skills and aren't learning to hate America and Jews.

I was wondering that same thing. Private school, our tax dollars, they shouldn’t get a dime. Just triple the tuition for the elite student body if Harvard needs more funding.

Their endowment is the largest in the world at $53.2B. At a conservative 5% investment yield that is $2.6B per year. With 21K students that is $124k earnings per student per year.

Private anything shouldn’t receive govt money, like hilariously named Non Government Organizations. If you’re a
NGO and go out of business when you have your government funding cut, that’s a problem.

The vast majority of that money goes towards scientific research. Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Hopkins, etc. do the research that the Federal Government can't do and what private companies won't do. Top universities basically serve a subcontractors to the US government.

That is not what the debate is about. In another thread you are questioning equal protection under the law. Basically the issue is Jewish students' civil rights are being violated. Simple solution - Harvard needs to provide them equal access and protection and they likely get their funding back.

I was just answering the question of "why"?

And I'm not questioning equal protection under law. I'm asking if everyone understands that the Constitution affords it to all persons residing in the US.

The Constitution was ratified in 1789. Less than 10 years later, many of the same individuals, passed The Foreign Enemies Act. Now put that into context at that time versus today. We were then a young nation of immigrants from many different nations (E Pluribus Unum). This led to expected assimilation and adoption of US culture while leaving their old culture behind. Now we are not one. We are a nation of hyphenated Americans with fewer and fewer commonalities - be it language, customs, morals or religion.

Notice also The Foreign Enemies Act specifically identifies males over the age of 14. It also references predatory incursions into the US. Isn't this what we have been witnessing? Predatory incursions into the US by military age males...
