No disrespect to the young man and I wish him well. The reality is that he won't see the field until his junior year.

The Osborne kid, (QB) for Woodrow Wilson, will run scout team for at least (3) years. It's just not the type of (QB) Virginia Tech recruits. I'm sorry, and I'm not bashing. Their staff likes the dual-threat (QB's) particularly from the Tidewater area High Schools.
WV, with notable exceptions, is one of the worst states for high school athletic talent. Yet it seems like many Marshall and WVU fans want their schools to take these kids over others at a detriment to their own team in the name of state pride or something.
Damn if Pruett can do it, WV has now become a hotbed in HS football recruiting
11 in one year is an anomaly, granted schools like Miami Central usually have about 9-11 kids sign D1A LOIs and that's just 1 HS in Miami.
Why spend so much time recruiting 2 kids from WV when you can go to Miami, Atlanta, The DMV and see 100 kids

It's ok, once Dana gets fired like he will after this season, those kids will realize the mistake they made
Where did those other 6 go? Florida? Alabama? Buffalo? Eastern Michigan? If they went to shitty schools, it's probably better we didn't get any of them.

The other side of thesis 7 kids from WV signed D1 this year and Marshall only got one kid.
BP last 4 classes he averaged about 1-2 kids from WV yearly. BP last few years his recruiting was dismal and contributed to some of the issues we had during the MS years. Doc is certainly making room for homegrown kids he seems to be asking them to come as invited walk ons. With a few exceptions, there is no way to really evaluate wv kids. How can you know how well the 6-5' 290 lb ol will do when he has been pushing around 5'9" 235 lb kids all year? I hope you get the point. Van Horn and big cheese show that Doc is making room. Like others have said, spending time in south dade is working well.

Isn't 5150 the same person who was able to get like a 150 post thread on this same topic last fall?
thats crazy i played for coach lilly who was a big marshall fan... cant believe he let his son go to that place
So... we lost nothing by not getting them. Any kid that goes to any of those schools, except maybe WVU, I don't want any way. Not good enough to play here, so don't waste a roster spot on them.
