WV Education Board Rejects Curriculum that Distorts Climate Science

They will end up towing the Fed Govt line on this topic. Its "settled science" because we need Fed $$$ to keep the lights on in the school building.

What is so hard to understand about this simple statement?

"The vast majority of climate scientists say their research concludes
that human activity is causing changes to the climate, as do the vast
majority of published, peer-reviewed studies on the matter."

NASA, NOAA, NWS, the World Meteorological Organization and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers all agree global warming is occurring. I guess the State Board is more knowledgeable in science than these well-respected agencies.

Actually, no. This isn't that much better than the newest rendition of "teach the controversy." It's factually correct but not a good teaching of science.

Assuming we're talking about a highschool level class, go over what happens when you have more greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Go over the ways those gases get there. And then go over the connection between the two. But don't skip the precursors, or you're programming and not teaching.
