That is right, I am asking you a question about travel. Let's say you are flying into an airport in a larger city. But, you destination is an hour or two away. Let's say you fly in early and you want to do some sight seeing in the bigger city for the day before going to your destination. You have no rental car or hotel in that city. Is there a good way to store your luggage somewhere without having to lug it around all day while out running around?

Most major airports have storage lockers that you can rent per hour or per day. They are cheap (less than $10/day).

If you don’t want to pay, you can take your luggage to your airline’s baggage office (usually right next to the baggage carousels). Sweet talk or tip the employee to leave your bag there for a few hours.

Last resort, just don’t get your bag at the carousel. Your airline’s baggage office employee will take it into their office and hold it, at which point, you go retrieve it when you’re back at the airport.

Thanks, option 3 sounds a little risky. They might send your luggage to North Dakota. Appreciate the help.

They would send your luggage to San Francisco because of the smell coming from your suitcase.
