- Kid Rock: racist
- Jake Paul: numerous pending lawsuits against him for being a shitty person
- Brett Farve: in the middle of multiple scandals where he is accused of doing some horrendous shit, basically stealing tax payer money and trying to take money away from the poor in his state.
- Elon Musk: horrible relationship with some of his children who have accused him of harassment, being non-existent for long periods, and disowning them. Has said some horrible things (and actually went back and deleted some of them).
- Mel Gibson: racist, batshit crazy
- Dennis Quaid: a life of scandal including multiple adulteress relationships, cocaine addiction, etc.
- Azealia Banks: a no-name rapper who has more headlines from her horrendous behavior than her music, batshit crazy
- Amber Rose: former stripper who is racist against her own race
- Jason Aldean: country singer who has been in his own racial controversies and whose wife's words have been called out by other country artists.
- Dave Portnoy: Adulterer
- Antonio Brown: Numerous arrests, domestic violence, assault, etc. Batshit crazy.
- Aaron Rodgers: Doesn't even talk to his own family (parents nor siblings), lied to his employer, misrepresented the truth to the public, and is widely considered a jerk.

Charles Huff, Marshall​

There were questions about Huff having never been a coordinator when he arrived in Huntington, West Virginia, as Alabama's running backs coach. Three-and-a-half seasons in, Marshall football is on solid footing. Huff can draft for a long time off the 2022 win at Notre Dame. A fourth straight bowl under Huff is possible. Given Marshall's investment in football, you can envision the Thundering Herd getting hot in the Sun Belt and grabbing a playoff spot some year. Regrade: A- | 2021 grade: B-

Halloween is over and I’m wondering how long it will take my closest neighbor to take down the tacky decorations. I’m not holding my breath because the inflatable swimming pool is still up over there.

I mulched all the leaves two days ago and it was a waste of time. New ones make it look like I did nothing. Downside of living in the woods. Right now I’m watching squirrels and chipmunks chasing each other through the front yard leaves. I never realized they ever interacted. Amazing the number of animals that roam here: squirrels, chipmunks, owls, vultures, black bears, raccoons, opossums, woodpeckers, turkeys, and a few creatures that I can’t identify. Those worry me.

No decent holidays left this year. I try to celebrate Thanksgiving, but there is no way I’m ever trying to cook a turkey. I even ruined a microwaved sweet potato last year. Christmas sucks and the New Year celebrations are anticlimactic. That is all.

Baseball signee Cooper Hinson just was named 1st team all-state as an outfielder in Florida. He also just signed an NIL deal with Baseball Lifestyle (www.BL101.com), and he has a pretty cute girlfriend. Due to those accomplishments, we will ignore that he has thousands of fake social media followers.

The Herd opened as a 10.5 point favorite - the largest home favorite vs. FBS since Old Dominion in September 2023.
We've been a double-digit home favorite against an FBS team just three times in three years (-10 vs. Louisiana in '22, -14 vs Old Dominion in '23, and now).
Looking at ULM on paper, it's glaringly obvious how bad they've been on offense - specifically the passing game. The worst offense we've played against so far (excluding Stony Brook) is Virginia Tech at 377 yards per game...which is 82 more yards per game than ULM has mustered.
They've played three different quarterbacks this year including Texas transfer General Booty (sounds like a member of 2 Live Crew?) but all have played poorly.
Where they were making their hay prior to this past weekend's blowout loss to South Alabama, was by muddying up the game, keeping it close, and then taking advantage of the other team's mistakes.
ULM reminds me of a poor man's UAB team from 2018-2021. Nothing fancy. Run the ball on offense. Limit mistakes. Play sound defense, especially on the back end with no explosive plays. Their new coach is Bryant Vincent - who was OC for Bill Clark at UAB in 2014 and again from 2018-2021. Their DC also has ties to UAB, so the Bill Clark/UAB fingerprints are all over the program.
Despite not having any "all stars", their secondary has been exceptional this year. 16th best pass efficiency defense in the country so far.
