Just got my new Medicare Pert D Premium for 2025 (Medicare premium for stand alone prescription drug coverage). It's climbing from $3.70 per month this year (2024) to $38.70 per month in 2025. Or from $44.40 per year in 2024 to $464.40 in 2025! Plus, my benefits if I remain healthy come down. To see any benefit at all on this garbage in return for the increased premium, you have to be almost on your death bed.

The fall leaves have been beautiful, especially with the sunny days we have had. If only we could eliminate those winter months of January, February, and half of March.

I have a neighbor who is obsessive about leaves falling on his lawn. He is out EVERY day raking them on to a tarp to be taken to the woods or blowing them away. Guess it gives him something to do.

Another neighbor told me a fellow is coming to take away the last of cut up wood blocks from our spring tornado damage. About time. Now I can start restoring the street frontage. That is all.

I always try and reserve any judgement until I see the product on display and in use. Yesterday afternoon there were times I could swear that DD was still coaching. Still shooting a lot of threes, losing their man on defense and falling for ball/shot fakes. Also. the low post looks suspect at times. I understand all the "they're just kids" stuff, but weren't these things going to be addressed under CJ?

Other than that, I thought they played hard and Nutter will need some knee and elbow pads, I think. However, UPike isn't the teams on the rest of the schedule. With that said, I'll be generous and say 10 to 12 wins this year and I wish them all the luck in the world.
