If Trump wins this thing it will be the biggest comeback in history. His political enemies have thrown everything at him including the kitchen sink. Gone after him legally. Gone after his family. Non stop for years. Shot at him. You name it. They have done it.

He is about to pull this damn thing off. He is close.

What an incredible story of resiliency. What an American.

I am proud to have casted my vote for the man of the people. I hope he becomes my son's commander in chief again. He is a great American.

Nice gesture, but how about taking care of US citizens in NC and TN that lost everything and some who don't have power and water after a week.

I was doing some boring household chores this morning, and as I usually do when I’m taking on monotonous work, I let my mind wander. I drifted back to the time shortly after I finished graduate work at Marshall.

I had moved to a new town and was getting ready to start my first real job. I hadn’t been in town but a few weeks when I met a very attractive young lady. Long curly hair, pretty face, smart, and from an influential family. Total package.

I ran into her several times before she surprisingly told me she would be interested in pursuing a relationship. I was very tempted, but for some reason, I sensed something wrong. I declined. Didn’t see her again.

I was continuing cleaning up the dusty house when my curiosity got the best of me. Had I made a terrible choice all those years ago? I got my phone and did a Google search. Didn’t take long to find her Facebook page.

I don’t have any social media, but Facebook let me view a limited amount of her information without being a member. She had moved to Louisiana and shockingly, her pictures showed that she had turned into a toad. How could anyone so attractive go downhill so badly?

It made me think how one small decision can change your whole life. I could easily be living in Louisiana with a toad. That would be horrible. I could never cheer for LSU.

But...I thought voter fraud wasn't a concern?

They are one of those teams that finish 10-2 all the time and just can't win the big one. They do it nearly ever year. I saw where that all world coach at Penn State is 1-13 against Top 5 teams. They can't beat Ohio State. Is that coach overrated? I am not sure. Or cursed? Just can't win the big one?

The fall leaves have been beautiful, especially with the sunny days we have had. If only we could eliminate those winter months of January, February, and half of March.

I have a neighbor who is obsessive about leaves falling on his lawn. He is out EVERY day raking them on to a tarp to be taken to the woods or blowing them away. Guess it gives him something to do.

Another neighbor told me a fellow is coming to take away the last of cut up wood blocks from our spring tornado damage. About time. Now I can start restoring the street frontage. That is all.

Still frustrated with Saturday nights debacle, but I look forward to being back in the Joan. Hoping we see Braxton solidified as QB1, the offense just flows so much better with him leading the way. For the love of God be done with this bs 2QB crap. Also, AJ Turner fed the rock like we would an Ali or Laborn in recent years. Really the only pressing matters as a team that need resolved in my opinion. I want Huff gone, but my want for this team to succeed is more. As unlikely as it may be, conference title appearance is still achievable, but starts with Georgia State Thursday night.

I discovered this morning that I was out of disposable coffee cups. I like the hard shell paper ones because of the texture and the way my hands can feel the warmth of the coffee.

When I went to the paper products section at Kroger’s, there was only one choice: eight cups in a sleeve, 16 oz., $7.99. The price had gone up almost $3 since my last visit. A little pricey in my opinion.

Next to the only paper cup choice was a number of styrofoam choices. I don’t like styrofoam because it takes forever to break down in landfills thus being bad for the planet. They had the 12 ounce size I wanted at $2.99 for two dozen. Screw the planet.
