Will & Harper

You deplorables should take 90 minutes and watch this documentary on Netflix. I am about 2/3 of the way through it. It follows Will Ferrell and his longtime friend Harper Steele. Steele was the head writer at Saturday Night Live for five years, so naturally, a pretty funny person.

Two years ago, at about 60 years old, Steele came out as having transitioned from a man to a woman. She has been married to a woman, had adult children, etc. None of her friends knew, and she sent them all an email telling them.

The documentary follows Will and Harper as they drive cross-country, as Steele had done many times before as a man, stopping in Middle America (country bars, dirt track races, The Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo hoping to see @big_country90, etc.). Will is his usual humorous self and asks questions that many of us would, and you see some of the expected discrimination along with some surprises.

If done differently, I think the storyline could have been done to win awards, but the format went a very different, very casual way. It's worth watching for you deplorables.

Striking Boeing workers boo after Democratic Sen. Maria Cantwell criticizes Trump

Bashing Trump is all Democrats have

Democrats, their policies and their bleaters are destroying our country

Is the U.S. economy better under GOP or Dem presidents?

There exists in much of America a belief, one our Republican family accepted for decades, that GOP presidents are better for the U.S. in terms of stock market performance, economic and job growth, and fiscal discipline/deficits.

Recently we accepted a challenge from a centrist economist to determine whether our bias was correct.

It turns out we were wildly mistaken.

The Starting QB Could Be Named Following Next Week's Bye Week

This according to Huff in his Presser.

Reporter Question: "You say with the quarterbacks playing with the switching back and forth. Do you think this is probably going to be the new norm of the offense going back and forth between Earle and Braxton or is it later on down the road you'll try to stick with one quarterback. What's your plan using two quarterbacks?"

Huff: " Yea I think it's ummm a good question. I think it's by week. It's not a...it's not a hey this is our plan back and forth. I do think we have a you know we we have a bye week coming up. We've got some time off coming up. We wanted to address the first three games in conference to see you know where we were at all positions. Um...during the bye we will make a decision on what way we go. It could be to continue to use both if that's the best thing to help the team win or it could be to go with one. Umm the kind of two quarterback option really came from more of the game plan and how we wanted to attack those teams. If that makes sense."

"Now as we go we'll still have that mindset, but we'll be able to assess now okay hey both of them have played in games and both for them have done some really good things and both of them have some things that they'd like to clean up. Where are we at from an offense. What. Who and what do we do well if that makes sense. Uhhh...so that's kind of the plan."

Is this idiot for real?

How a hurricane in this crucial swing state may screw Trump supporters

Now that his potential votes are on the line in flood-ravaged North Carolina, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s campaign has asked the Democrat-controlled State Board of Elections, the legislature, and the Democratic governor to offer those voters exactly the sort of access he and his minions are suing to deny everywhere else.
