They did what they had to do today ugly as hell or not. Sadly it might not matter except to those that finishing 2nd isn’t the same as last...
Yes agreed but still sucks to not achieve one of the objectives each season. That’s what the sadly was for.....
Frankly, this team did not achieve any goal so far this year. Goals are
1. Win the east
2. Win the conference
3. Win your bowl
To me the last one means nothing without getting at least the first one.

Give them credit for a comeback win at least, rather than pile on for all the things we wished would happen.
Absolutely. They could have quit, but they fought all the way. Happy that the seniors' last home game will be a good memory.

Actually, I give the players a ton of credit for not only this game, but the whole season. We have all had a job where we had an idiot boss that micromanaged us, didn't allow us to grow, didn't trust us to accomplish assigned tasks. Then they send you out with some ill conceived, hairbrained plan that you know won't allow you to meet your goals. It's a horrible situation to be in.
Fortunately for us when we get put in that position we can leave and get a better job with a better boss. Hey, wait, maybe that explains our high attrition rate.
