PRESIDENT CARTER SAYS CROOKED IS ILLIGITIMATE PREZ; SAYS FULL INVESTIGATION WOULD SHOW HE LOST IN 16

Former President Jimmy Carter said during an event Friday morning at the Carter Center with historian John Meacham that he believes Donald Trump's presidency is illegitimate and "he didn’t actually win the election in 2016."

“I think a full investigation would show that Trump didn’t actually win the election in 2016. He lost the election, and he was put into office because the Russians interfered on his behalf,”
the former president, who served between 1977 and 1981, said at a panel hosted by the Carter Center in Leesburg, Va.

The nearly two-year probe by former special counsel Robert Muellerlaid out in extensive detail how the Kremlin used hacking techniques and disinformation campaigns to try to sway the election Trump's way.

The president also said in a recent interview that he might not report any election help offered by foreign sources to the FBI in the 2020 election cycle, stoking fresh agitation among Democrats and his fellow Republicans.

And just hours after Carter’s comment, Trump again made light of Russia's meddling attempts. While meeting with Vladimir Putin at the G-20 summit in Japan, Trump turned to the Russian president and said jokingly, "Don't meddle in the election, president. Don't meddle in the election." Putin, after appearing to hear the translation, laughed while Trump grinned.

CROOKED KICKS OFF 2020 CAMPAIGN EMPLOYING SOVIET TACTICS

AUSTIN, Tex. — For much of the last three months, the most popular Joseph R. Biden Jr. website has been a slick little piece of disinformation that is designed to look like the former vice president’s official campaign page, yet is most definitely not pro-Biden.

From top to bottom, the website,XXXXXXXXX, breezily mocks the candidate in terms that would warm the heart of any Bernie Sanders supporter: There are GIFs of Mr. Biden touching women and girls, and blurbs about his less-than-liberal policy positions, including his opposition to court-ordered busing in the 1970s and his support for the Iraq war. Pull quotes highlight some of his more famous verbal gaffes, like his description of his future boss, Barack Obama, as “articulate and bright and clean.” The introductory text declares, “Uncle Joe is back and ready to take a hands-on approach to America’s problems!”

There is indeed an American behind the website — that much is unambiguously true. But he is very much a political player, and a Republican one at that. His name is Patrick Mauldin, and he makes videos and other digital content for President’s Trump’s re-election campaign. Together with his brother Ryan, Mr. Mauldin also runs Vici Media Group, a Republican political consulting firm in Austin whose website opens with the line “We Kick” followed by the image of a donkey — the Democratic Party symbol often known by another, three-letter, name.

But the campaign knows about the websites, raising the prospect that the president’s re-election effort condoned what is, in essence, a disinformation operation run by one of its own.

If Biden has another debate performance like the last one, he'll put himself out of the running. Has there ever been a worse public outing for a frontrunner?

I know you hate him, and I know you're ate up with him, but the people that voted for Trump and many political pundits loved his debate performances. Even die-hard Dems and Obama supporters acknowledge that Biden's debate performance was one of the worst in modern history.

No doubt, that's the people who love his lying, insults, and making faces. If that doesn't work his go-to will be attacking the moderator. Yeah, what's not to like. trumptard

No matter how many times you insult me, or how much you hate Trump, those things won't change the fact that Biden screwed the pooch in that debate.

(WHICH FASCICONS WILL NEVER PERMIT) WILL PROVE HE DID NOT WIN THE ELECTION,
HE LOST THE ELECTION AND WAS PUT INTO OFFICE BECAUSE RUSSIA INTERFERED WITH
THE ELECTION.

And no matter what, you and others like you turn a blind eye to the lying, the insults, the stupidity, the cowardice, the total selfishness, and the complete ineptness of cheetos. And then you defend his debate performance in which all the things above that I mentioned are in full display during those debates. He's not only the worst president in my life time, he's an even worse human being.

the race baiting , the insults, the stupidity and cowardice has been coming from the left for so long I welcome someone paying it back. Until both sides reach some cooperative agreement to a more civil exchange of ideas I see this being US politics going forward.

CROOKED GIVES N. KOREA NUKES OK DAYS AFTER SECRET MEETING WITH PUTIN

The concept would amount to a nuclear freeze, one that essentially enshrines the status quo, and accepts the North as a nuclear power, something administration officials have often said they would never stand for.

More than two years ago, on his first trip to Seoul, Secretary of State Rex W. Tillerson rejected a similar idea. He said it would “leave North Korea with significant capabilities that would represent a true threat, not just to the region, but to American forces, as well.”

It falls far short of Mr. Trump’s initial vow 30 months ago to solve the North Korea nuclear problem, the North Korean dictator has been playing the American president brilliantly by giving him the visuals he craves while holding back on real concessions.

While the approach could stop that arsenal from growing, it would not, at least in the near future, dismantle any existing weapons, variously estimated at 20 to 60. Nor would it limit the North’s missile capability.

“The president constantly takes credit for the fact that the prospect of war has receded,” said Richard Haass, the president of the Council on Foreign Relations, who was involved in the Bush administration’s confrontations with the North. “But it went up not because North Korea was doing anything differently, but because the administration was threatening war. And it went down not because the threat had lessened, but because the administration seemed content with the chimera of denuclearization.”

“That’s legitimation of a nuclear state,” Mr. Jackson said.

“Despite all the reality show-like optics of the Singapore and Hanoi summits and this meeting today, what substantive progress have we made in denuclearization?” asked Yun Duk-min, a former chancellor of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy who now teaches at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul. “Not a single nuclear warhead or missile in North Korea has been eliminated. The North’s nuclear facilities are still in operation.”

CROOKED'S IDEA OF FREEDOM IS TANKS LINING THE STREETS OF THE NATIONS CAPITAL.

Top military officials have expressed deep concern about letting the armed forces be used by the president to advance a political agenda, and earlier resisted his efforts for a military parade on Veterans Day.

Pentagon officials have long been reluctant to parade tanks, missiles and other weapons through the nation’s capital like the authoritarian leaders of North Korea and China. They say the United States, which has the world’s most powerful military and spends more on defense than the seven next largest military spenders combined — China, Saudi Arabia, India, France, Russia, Britain and Germany — does not need to broadcast its strength.

Mr. Trump said that “brand-new Abrams tanks” and “brand-new Sherman tanks” would be on display on Thursday. The M1 Abrams tank was used during the Persian Gulf war of 1991 and is still currently in use by the military. The M4 Sherman was used by the United States during World War II and the Korean War, and is no longer in active service.

Last week, Ms. King tweeted a cartoon to say that she was not performing at Mr. Trump’s event. “To be clear — I am appearing in ‘A Capitol Fourth,’” the cartoon said, adding, “I am not participating in T’s political rally.”

Well, I guess his buds Vlad and Kim have tanks at their patriotic celebrations..."why not me?"

Is this going to be a Trump campaign rally at the tax payers expense?

The above is after Desert Storm. It was in celebration of the troops - it's my understanding this was the last military parade in DC.

The fourth of July is about the founding of this country and the founding fathers who created it. Not sure how Abrams tanks are part of that story..

Most presidents understand that the theme of the day is “we the people,” not “me, me, me.” They usually have the good sense to keep a low profile. Some, beginning with Ulysses S. Grant, have made a point of leaving town; others have opted for symbolic activities befitting the occasion. George W. Bush and Barack Obama chose to preside over naturalization ceremonies for new citizens. Last year, Trump appropriately hosted a picnic at the White House for military families.

"Our founders were ready to give their lives for this country and that's what we celebrate on the Fourth of July," Democratic strategist Jesse Ferguson said. "Donald Trump wants to basically cancel the nonpartisan celebration of America and force us to celebrate him, instead."

Tanks are cool! What is more American than an Abrams tank? People love that kind of thing. Doesn't happen often. Most people are cooking hot dogs and having a picnic. They are out watching fireworks and enjoying a long weekend or vacation. Tanks only make it better.

  • a government of laws - not of men
  • Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happyness.
They were fighting for personal freedoms and some pretty f'n awesome ideals. Primary of which they were against kings and dictators...of which Trump would be elated to become either.

Geezus.....what Jr High School do you attend?

Trump talks about President for life:
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/trump-says-maybe-u-s-will-have-a-president-for-life-someday

IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT - THIS IS WHAT THEY DO.
THEY PUT SOMETHING OUT THERE LIKE BEING PRESIDENT FOR LIFE. WHICH SOUNDS LUDICROUS.
BUT THEY GET IT INTO THE NATIONS BLOODSTREAM, GET PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT IT AND IT BECOMES
LESS ALIEN, PEOPLE GET ACCUSTOMED TO HEARING IT, THEN AFTER THE COUNTRY HAS SOFTEN TO
HEARING IT AND THE SHOCK OF HEARING HAS WORN OFF THEY BEGIN TO PUSH FOR IT.

COHEN KNOWS HIM BETTER THAN ALMOST ANYONE - COHEN DOESN'T THINK HE WILL GIVE IT UP
WHEN HE LOSES.

WE'VE GOT TANKS ON THE STREETS IN DC, AND FIGHTER JETS AND ATTACK HELICOPTERS FLYING
OVERHEAD - AND PUTIN IN HIS EAR.

WHAT WOULD SUIT PUTIN BETTER THAN TO HAVE CROOKED REFUSE TO LEAVE OFFICE - THE END OF DEMOCRACY IN AMERICA.

Thx! It’s nice to start the day with a chuckle at the expense of libiots
