Marshall has one player on the first team offense, defense, or specialists. That's awful. Marshall has two players, both on defense, on any of the second teams. Marshall has one player on the third team. Marshall has two players on the fourth team. Excluding UAB, the only team with fewer all-conference selections is Charlotte.

How bad has the talent level dropped in Huntington, and how has it dropped so much?

I don't think it's a matter of the talent level dropping, but more so the production falling off.

Look at the players listed above the Marshall players on the list. They all had better 2016's than our guys. Prior to 2016, it was the completely oppposite and if we're able to bounce back in 2017 then things will be back to normal for the 2018 pre-season list.

Considering Doc has a huge advantage in taking any NQ he can. That is troubling. Yuracheck certainly deserves it. Hopefully being 4th on the QB list will provide Litton some more motivation.

I think this is more of a reflection of the mail it in effort displayed by last years team. Plus there were the early and head scratching unexpected departures by players that could have populated this list. I actually like the you need to prove it to me microscope this team will be under this year, hopefully it will resurrect that old Herd "We Play For Championships" fire.

Litton listed as 4th best. That is a pick based on what they hope he does this year. He is deserving of no awards yet.

They don't for sure but if we had everyone on first team, we'd proclaim us Access Bowl bound.

It gives cause for concern. At least to me.

No I think its all the crap rifle got when he was coaching. As a son of marshall he should have been encouraged at those jobs. Most all except me didnt even follow how his teams were doing. Now if u heard of a loss by one of his teams most run to the board as fast as thet could. My dear friend phil ratliff was not fond of Doc either.
