I don't want to get myself overly hyped, but I am really liking what I am seeing from these kids that Danny has brought together. I got a chance to talk to him for a bit and I really like his plan and his expectations for his team. He has a certain type of kid that he wants representing Marshall University. He said if he can't win with that type of kid, then he'll just move on and let someone else have it. He makes it clear to them that there is an expectation to represent the University with class and that you should be prepared to give back when your time comes. I didn't realize it, but we have 3 players on this team that are aspiring doctors! As far as basketball, these kids can play some ball too. High energy is the term for the day!! The Frampton kid from Poca and Kilgore kid from Spring Valley are walk-ons, but they are not just filling out a roster, they can play some ball! I think 15-18 wins is a very real possibility!
