Marshall fan second. It was good to see that you have Doc locked up with a new contract. He is legendary in Florida recruiting and will keep Marshall above the rest of the CUSA in terms of talent. I was never surprised that he could bring talent to the Herd, though I gotta say that I dont think he is a great X's and O's coach. What has surprised me is that he seems to be a pretty good administrator and can evaluate coaching talent as well as he does player talent.
It is a shame that Marshall didnt get a better bowl game opponent, NIU was clearly a level below the Herd in terms of talent. It is also a shame that your schedule didnt allow you to really show how good you might have been. But you can only play what is in front of you.
