Dan = Doc. It is time…

Dan could get better recruits. He's just lazy. That was proven with Luke Frampton. Kid was 45 mins down the road and Dan attended barely if any of the workouts that were being held for coaches. However the Davidson(or wherever he went) HC came to just about everyone of them.

Frampton is now at WKU. Shooting 38.6% from behind the line for his career. Could have been played well in the Hillbilly Ball system.

You can’t play hillbilly ball without at least 2 players that can shoot the 3 well. We are really easy to defend now. Just pack in the defense and wait for us to throw up a prayer or make a bad pass.

I would like to see John Brannen considered for our next coach when Dan moves on. He is an MU alum and has proved that he can win at the college level. A. W. would also be a good choice. I expect Dan to stay one more year and then retire for good.

Lets just put it this way...

Doc was 3-9 in 2016 and EVERYONE in the damn state was calling for his head including JJ...except the 2 most important factors, MU AD and MU President supported retaining him.
Now, those 3 are gone...
DD is doing worse than he's ever done...no calls for firing him from the MU BoG or outrage from JJ or anything...and the 2, well 1 new MU president and (I guess) 1 acting AD, haven't said a thing.
I think they are waiting like most administrators do, until the season is over and see what happens. No sense in giving DD ultimatums now, that wouldn't do anyone any good at this point.
Mike never gave Doc an ultimatum after 2016, I sure as hell would have. The worst football season in 3 decades.
This team is not playing well and everyone knows it. If the team doesn't turn it around, it wouldn't shock me to see DD resign at the end of the season; or give it one more year to leave on a more positive note. He does love Marshall and bleeds green - more so than many of our so called fans.

He certainly needs to take a step back, look at what's going on and employ a sense of urgency within the program. Frankly, I have never been impressed with his staff. I wonder how well they contribute.
