DD needs to:

This year has been ugly at times, and next year could be way worse. He does things a lot differently than most. His style works but just like lots of niche styles in sports, and once it gets “figured out,” other teams are able to emulate that formula and beat us like a drum.

I am still not sold on our ability to recruit, and next years team is really going to struggle unless we find someone to come in at the point who can create off the dribble.

I said as much, it's not there right now; I, personally, didn't expect it to be after losing the nation's leading shot blocker in the paint who could extend the paint on the other end. We should have things adjusted come February, but that's not easy to replace and it was unexpected which is tough from a personnel standpoint.

Not being a jerk but what makes you think a deficiency like the loss of Peneva will be adjusted come the last full month of the season? Nothing in the first couple months of the season has shown that to be the case so what will happen in the next two months to change that? Again, just asking not being a jerk.....

Thats whats being said on another board. And im sure his weight had some contribution to it.
which means he will gain weight again because he is hurt again...the kid needs to commit his self to losing weight not only to be a better basketball player but also for his health

Peneva leaving is turning out to be a nightmare...he never made the NBA and the program was set back....none of the three new kids are giving us minutes like we need

He was very committed by losing nearly 60 pounds in the past few months. I hope he continues on his Keto diet and continues the weight loss

But with all the leg injuries and the lack of mobility its still not nearly enough...again he had all last year to get into basketball shape...

Sounds like the kid needs to start doing yoga....help with his mobility and flexibility as he continues to lose bad weight.

How much more committed can he be after having lost 60 pounds in 8 months?? He was actually committed last season and was following the 'low fat' dietary plan that the training staff had recommended . Unfortunately this does not work for most people and certainly did not work for him. He actually lost about 25 pounds while he was still out with his stress fracture once he got started on the correct dietary plan for him. As long as he continues to limit his carbs he will continue to lose weight. His biggest challenge will be getting in cardiovascular shape without putting too much stress on his foot.

60 lbs in 8 months while “impressive” isn’t all that much when you think about it. It’s less than 2 pounds a week.

That is on pace for 90 lbs. within a year. That's a hell of a weight loss total even for a person who weighs 400 lbs.

60 lbs. in 8 months is significant weight loss. The CDC recommends 1-2 lbs. per week, with of course, the biggest shedding taking place earlier in a weight loss cycle.

Saying losing 60 lbs. in 8 months "isn't all that much" is simply foolish.

Rifles actually right about something. I guess Lardo at least looks at weight loss tips online when he’s busy sitting his butt in his computer chair all day long being an internet tough guy in every HN thread.

This is great. We have a dork come on here and try talking shit, but in doing so, looks dumber than the morons he is attempting to defend.

I don't have to try being an internet tough guy. I'm 6'2.5, 225 lbs., built like a Greek god, and am far stronger than even my size. Grown men cross the street when they see me walking towards them, women start walking bow-legged and say "ouch," and children want to know if they can take a picture with Thor.

I know what the CDC recommends for “safely losing weight”. With the right direction and observation he can lose more safely.

Dang, I really got under your skin. I’m sure you’re built just like a Greek god in your imagination, you unemployed snowflake. Let me know when you actually start contributing to society, or when someone other than your mother cares that you exist. Until then, learn how to act like a man, not like some 11 year old who just discovered the internet this morning.

And saying that it isn't much to lose 80 lbs. in 6 months is simply asinine.

.

You aren't very bright, huh? YOU'RE the one who said that I got under your skin. Now, you're trying to say that you got under my skin, because I mocked your post? Brilliant.

I’m sure you’re built just like a Greek god in your imagination,

There are plenty of people on here who know what I look like. Let me know if you want to compare so we can see who the "lardo" is, moron. Until then, keep hiding, coward.

Why are you still here? You're the baby who ran to another board, lied, and cried that people were mean to you on here:

Hoo boy, you’re getting hot. So defensive!

It’s not exactly hard to find out who I am IRL. Just be careful, we both remember what happened last time you started going down this road!

Just because you keep making that bogus claim doesn't make it true. You're the moron who said that I got under your skin, then you tried turning around and saying that you were the one who got under my skin. You do realize how quickly you made yourself look like a moron, right?

Just be careful, we both remember what happened last time you started going down this road!

We do? No, I don't. Please remind me. Clearly, any interaction you have had with me is something you remember. I have that impact on you. On the other hand, you have no impact on me, hence me not recalling anything.

But please, show us all what happened the last time I "started going down this road" . . . or you can continue being a coward and hiding from things that you mention.

Oh, and I’ve gained some weight since I got out of the military. Difference being that I don’t care, and you clearly do.

Let me get this straight: You're a fat ass, yet you are the one who claimed that I am? Great plan.

You're as bad at this as upChuck.

Ok. I’m 62 years old. 6’5 220. Funny how you had to add the last half inch. Compensating? Maybe change it to 6’2 9/16. It would make you’d look better.

Yeah, you did get under my skin, so called your fake ass out for it. Yet you’re the one going clear to the point off butthurt, not me. And I’m taking about when you got banned while still using your Rifle username for posting private information about people who got you all riled up a few years ago. Get over yourself. It’s clear as day not a soul can stand you in person, and pretty obvious that this entire board hates you.

You clearly don't know much about the four people who were banned. You clearly don't know much about anything.

Butthurt? Are you a 12 year old and this is 2009? PTSD is a real thing with you, huh?

Why don’t you tell me about why you got banned, then? I mean, I was still pretty active on the board at the time and remember it, but I didn’t have the perspective of one actually banned.

I called the former owner of the board out for being hypocritical. He warned that the next person who posted personal info about another poster would be banned. I posted screen shots of him providing personal information about a poster he didn't like to me. He was able to get that personal information by using the info the poster signed up with when setting up an account on here. He provided me that information hoping that I would use it to chase off the poster that he didn't like.

Plenty of people currently active on this board saw that stuff when it was posted. Three others were "banned," and they too, can support that story. The wvu fan who the previous owner was trying to protect even posted that I shouldn't have been banned, as I was not one of the people he was complaining about posting personal info. But that's what happens when you fight the good fight and call out the owner for hypocrisy.

Now, the owner has since posted that the screen shots I posted were taken out of context or some other bullshit, but that's not the case even remotely. It is exactly what I said it is. There is no other way the messages he sent could be interpreted. This was the same board owner who tried bribing me with free premium access on here if I would post on the paid forum, because you know, that's what the board owner would try doing for a guy the "entire board hates," moron (and that bribing is also screen shotted).

Have you served ? What’s your service record. Please response. You disrespect veterans service by mocking PTSD. Wow, why do posters give you any credit. Amazingly people read your posts. You are a joke. I do not have PTSD. But I’ll call bullshit on you.
