Do You Leftists Really Agree with This?

I still use it to network, as it was intended. In a few years all of the people too old for Linkedin will be retired/dead and then I can deactivate my Facebook account. And then a few years after that I will be retired/dead.

Did you ever see those crappy websites like classmates.com? There was another one (reunion something) and they both initially started out with some free functions in which you could actually connect with someone from high school, college, etc. Well, that didn't last long and then they made everything a feature included in the paid membership. It was pointless, because the cost wasn't cheap and then even if you decided to pay, the recipient would also have to pay just to be able to see your message and reply. Those existed shortly before My Space. I think they may still exist, although I don't know why anyone would bother when you can connect and communicate through Facebook.

Marrying a Mexican two years ago doesn't suddenly make you an expert on foreign relations of that country.

Your claim is that Mexico is rolling out the red carpet for these people simply to make cheeto potentially look bad. Do you not think that Mexico realizes all/most/some of these people may not get to the U.S.? In that case, they have no problem "looking bad" as a result?

You claim that Mexico is rolling out the red carpet for them. In that case, why was Mexico using tear gas and riot police against them? Was that all an act?

Do you really think 4000-6000 people will all stay together during a 1500 mile trek? Do you not think a good number will splinter off and end up wanting to stay in Mexico instead? Suddenly, Mexico is cool with that?

Your argument is that Mexico is allowing this simply to make cheeto look bad by not letting them into the U.S. However, if that is the case, wouldn't Mexico look just as bad by imprisoning/kicking those same people out of Mexico? Do you really think Mexico has that obviously hypocritical of a mindset and isn't smart enough to realize that?

First, almost 3 years and been together for 4. And what it does mean is that I know more than you. That's enough for me. It also means that I do know something about the political climate in Mexico and read Mexican news on a regular basis. But I'm sure you do that too, right?

Now, go run along and check my Facebook to see exactly how long I've been married. I'm sure that will be your next move.

They were some of the first sites to realize personal data = money.

Fvckin' MySpace...I can't be the only one that thinks MySpace was 10x better than Facebook. I miss doing HTML on my pages. Of course, customization is what killed MySpace, advertisers knew they could not get attention on any individual page....why do you think Facebook is so clean, almost sterile, looking? You can barely tell apart the ads from the rest of the news feed.

Sure. It's more accurate to say that the 2019 MLB season is about to start (even though the 2018 hasn't finished yet) then it is to say "almost 3 years" married. The 2019 MLB season will start before you reach 3 years.
You have another six months until 3 years of marriage.

I don't have a choice to read Mexican news. Each evening when I watch the news, it includes Mexican news. That's what happens when you live in a city where nearly 40% of the population is Hispanic, almost all of which are Mexican. It doesn't hurt that I've been to Mexico at least six times over the last two years (including Ciudad Acuna three times, Mexico City once, Juaraz once).

None of that changes the illogic behind your argument: You're arguing that the Mexican government is assisting the immigrants even though they bombarded them with tear gas originally. The only reason more physical force wasn't used is because so many of them were women, children, and babies. Using tear gas and riot police doesn't seem too welcoming to me. You also argue that, even though there is a good chance cheeto stops them before entering the U.S., Mexico is allegedly helping them just to make cheeto look bad for kicking them back. Yet, Mexico tried doing the same thing with riot police and tear gas. Even though there is a good chance that the immigrants aren't allowed in the U.S., Mexico would suddenly be the same "bad guy" that you claim they are presenting cheeto as being.

For a country that has a southern border so strong, like you claim, why would they allow many of the 4000-6000 immigrants to just wander through the country? You realize that the entire group simply cannot (and have not) been able to stick together, right?

Is your claim that Mexico is really that hypocritical, and frankly, stupid?

So predictable. Ran to my Facebook and the Googled news about these immigrants as quickly as you could.

My answer is "Yes." The Mexican government is hypocritical and stupid. And yes, 100% Mexico is helping to usher these people through their country (even providing buses for part of the trip).

Again, it's not hard to understand. There's a big election coming up. They don't like Trump...which is fine. They are forcing Trump to either 1. Tick of his base by letting these people in or 2. Energizing Democrats by turning them away. If Trump doesn't let them in, they don't care if they are the bad guys. They are gonna ship as many of those people as they can back across the southern border or assist them in sneaking in the US. We're not talking about the world ethics committee here.

By the way, congratulations on visiting Acuna and Juarez...aka South Texas. And I'm guessing you didn't even leave the airport in Mexico City. If you did, I'm sure you didn't venture far from your 4-star hotel and the touristy areas. I'm surprised you didn't tell me about taking a trip to Tulum or Tijuana.

Well, you told me to do it. It doesn't make your comment any less accurate.

Google about the immigrants? Don't be stupid. There is nothing in my post that Google would have been able to help.

Oh, we caught another one. Every other country is bad and unethical. The U.S. and cheeto are the standing beacons of goodness and ethics.

It doesn't matter if it is Canada, England, the rest of the EU, Mexico, the Far East, the Middle East . . . everyone else is the bad guy and the U.S./cheeto is always the good guy.

Where did I say I supported Trump? I think the Trump administration is as corrupt as they come. That doesn't make what I said about Mexico false.

You really are off your game lately. Sometimes you should just admit you don't know what you're talking about and move on.

Where did I ever say that you did? I said that in your mind, U.S./cheeto is good/ethical and the rest of the world is bad/unethical.

. That doesn't make what I said about Mexico false.

I didn't say false - more like stupid and illogical.

- Mexico is welcoming the migrant marchers . . . with tear gas and riot police.
- Mexico is wanting to make cheeto look bad by forcing him to turn away the migrants . . . so that Mexico can look worse by imprisoning them or busing them out of their country.

Yeah, makes a lot of sense.

I mean it's pretty clear that you implied my support of Trump when you said "Oh we've got another one..." or whatever it was.

And if all of what I said is stupid or illogical...why did Mexico let them cross the border anyways? Why are they providing buses during parts of the trip?

And again, Mexico DOES NOT CARE how they look because they know that the focus will be on what Trump does. And you know that is true as well. If you weren't the biggest internet troll on the planet you'd admit that.
