I've never quite understood the fascination adults have with Star Wars movies or the hoopla surrounding them. To each their own, I still spend money on things that other's can't comprehend so this isn't meant as a personal attack on those that get excited about May 4th, but I truly don't get it.
Including Rogue, there have been nine movies so far. I, II, III were absolutely terrible. Rogue was surprisingly good. IV & V were okay but Hammil's acting is atrocious. VI was sub-par. VII was just an apology for I, II, & III being unwatchable. VIII, minus two scenes, was unwatchable & completely unnecessary. Apparently IX will ignore/retcon quite a bit of VIII because it was just terrible.
I also realize I've seen them all & that saying I don't get it makes no sense. I get the irony. Rogue I saw in the theater, the rest I've caught here & there on Netflix or whatever streaming services. So out of nine released movies, one was actually pretty good, two were okay, one was meh, four were terrible, & one was an apology.
