Immigration laws should be enforced first. That would go a long way into reducing our $151 Billion a year taking care of illegal foreign nationals. Employment laws? Hell yes. Agree with you one hundred percent. Employing illegal foreign nationals should be enforced big time, with harsh punishments.

These illegal foreign nationals aren't even being vetted and Pedo-Joe is giving them IDs and releasing them into our country. Who knows who the hell you're hiring? They are already criminals and maybe even terrorists. What diseases are they bringing with them?

Job #1 should be DEPORTING them and securing our borders. That's the first line of defense. They shouldn't be rewarded.

Hell Bernie in 2000’s sounds more protectionist (warning about loss of labor pay for inner city workers ) about our borders . He’s since quieted but he knew it would hurt low skill US labor.

McCain as I recall had path to citizenship bills he promoted.

However there doesn’t need to be a standard national policy as states are fully capable of deciding what works best in their jurisdiction as rights not spelled out in constitution are reserved to the states.
