Follow the money Vinny. You got a ring with your hometown team, now go get paid and set your family up for life.
so is this bad news for Vinny? or Chris Long? Most recent word is that they are trying to restructure his contract, and failing that, several teams have lined up to trade for him. He's going to be just fine.
all true, but is Vinny worth $9 million a year, relative to his production? Thats the questionThings like this always puzzle me? The Eagles had a great defense last year and won the Super Bowl. Vinny was a solid contributor to that defense and was a starter. He’s also still young.
Why did the Eagles think they had to change things? Was it simply money? I mean they won the Super Bowl, correct me if I’m wrong but that as high as you can go in the NFL. One of the main reason was their defense.
I just find it strange when teams do that after they won a Super Bowl.
$3million/sack. Thats good money for him not necessarily a good value for the franchise.all true, but is Vinny worth $9 million a year, relative to his production? Thats the question
I hope they find a way to keep him, I like vinny way more than Michael Bennett, and it seems they are almost the same money.Total sacks do not tell the whole story re: Vinny's value and productivity.
