Doc needs to retire or be dismissed by Jerome Gilbert.

This is humiliating and the only thing that made it look decent was the screwed up season. Embarrassing losses at home. The program is stagnant and has been for damn near a decade.

I am tired of the buddy buddy system between him and the AD. We used to be dominate at home and look at the last two weeks. Not good!

Doc ‘s time has come to an end but you can not afford to keep up appearances living off a Legacy that has become a has been and is in need of rejuvenation and to once again play for championships and win!!!

This is confusing. Doc had a very successful tenure at WVU against far better competition. Are you saying it's harder to get a job at Marshall than WVU? Are you saying, wait what are you saying?

Got news for you. The buddy buddy system is never going away. Look at our HC hires over the last 30 years.

Pruett - former herd player and local guy (Beckley)
Snyder - former herd player and local guy (South Point)
Doc - local guy (Hurricane)

We hit a home run with Pruett, but I don't think there are any former MU players out there that are a top assistant for a top P5. The chances of Marshall doing a national search and hire the best available candidate is slim to none.

Lambert keeps coming up and he's a guy with ties to Marshall.

What you want is most likely never going to happen.

Doc didn’t coach a damn game at WVU or any school before here. He was a position coach or recruiting coordinator. No OC, no DC. He’s never been seriously considered for other coaching jobs despite his so called success here. Other schools see the smoke and mirrors
