That is all good with dealing with it after the fact..but we must find ways to prevent them from ever happening.
How do you legislate crazy? If you can come up with a legal way to do that then by all means do it
I bet when you look in the mirror, you see a tie dyed shirt and ankle socks with Birkenstocks in the reflection
We should make guns illegal? You mean like the way drugs are illegal? Like domestic violence is illegal? Like stabbing someone is illegal? Like rape is illegal? Like incest is illegal? Like human trafficking is illegal? Law breakers don’t follow laws.

A good start would be keeping things like this out of the news cycle. Somewhere some kid is getting their rocks off wanting to do the same and sees the attention that was paid here with the media attention. Same can be said for the Buffalo store shooting. Those sickos want to be remembered in the news. Do that and then we can have a discussion about ways of getting local entities to report mental health issues or domestic issues to the NCIC which would put a flag on that person being able to pass a background check. Those two things there would go a long long way towards events such as this.
Better question. Why aren't dangerous career criminals behind bars???
