IRS Tax Deadline

The rich don't create jobs. When are you going to start understanding this?

How many poor people buy your cabinets? Are the welfare recipients lining up to buy your product?

You would understand this, but your are too busy laying off employees instead of trying to land some wealthy clients who might "employ" your people.

There were 4 corporations that made 160 billion profit over a 3 year period and paid zero FEDERAL INCOME TAX. If I remember correctly Wells Fargo and general electric were 2 of the 4.

I understand it now. Why don't they though?

I'm not rich, but I've got some money. It's hard to find anything worth buying. People want money for terrible, shitty stuff. Shitty services. Why can't people make something good or provide a service worth a shit so I can start having a better time with this money?

I'd rather just light money on fire than spend it on anything they had at Cabela's. Or most any other store. It's all worthless junk. Put something worth buying in there and I'll buy it.

This whole thing reeks of just saying "well, since you won't buy our shitty products, we're gonna force you to whether you want them or not."

I didn't realize BHO devised and enforced tax policy. My bad.
The IRS (Internal Revenue Service) is under the US Department of the Treasury, in the Executive Branch.

So, in short, the IRS is a part of the Treasury Department, the Treasury Department exercises a part of the executive power, the executive power — in its entirety — is vested in the president, and Barack Obama is president.

That'd be great...except......

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes

Because they simply CANNOT create jobs. Hiring someone is not "creating" a job. The position being filled by hiring someone is because there's a need for the position to be filled to meet existing DEMAND for a product or service. Did your employer hire you just because a seat was empty, or did they hire you to work for them so you can help them provide a service or product that is in demand?

short-sighted as usual.

Yep and he is charge of collecting in through the treasury. He doesn't write laws he enforces the laws including tax laws. Hence, the executive branch.

Ok greed, demand. But, someone has to have capital to produce the product and put it to market.

Poor people can't do that. Hell, in most cases they can't even buy anything.

OK zeroemployeeman, the guys with capital aren't going to invest in anything unless they believe there's a demand for it. So, capital is useless without demand except to the person who has it.

Do you have employees or did you pay under the table or 1099 them?

One person can only demand so much. So many people have way more means than they can ever use for their demands. Many other people struggle with not having enough to meet theirs. Since there is apparently no service or product the struggling can provide to facilitate a mutually beneficial exchange, the only remaining option is forceful confiscation.

It won't hurt. The rich won't be punished. But they will be forced. And just because of that, they won't let go of any more than they have to. No sense of community. Each side will walk away in a huff.

The shame of it all. Still, even looking at it from the perspective of if I was struggling, I wouldn't want a handout from the rich. So I can't support this idea, but I am not in the majority so it will come to pass.

Cubs 9, Reds 2

What has just occurred is a miracle in the eyes of Zenu......

Brace yourself everyone. Greed has just admitted that "trickle down" is necessary for the creation and expansion of an economy to occur.

LMAO, we got him hook line and sinker.

Greed is a "trickle downer"

He stepped right in it. I could see that coming. He just admitted it.

Wasn't Greed just on here earlier today advocating going back to a 1950s style economy? Now he mocks dropping overall wages per hour to incentivize job growth. He just cant make up his mind.

But lets get real. Some of you progressive rubes "champion" 1950's taxes, wages, etc....Read the article. There are two main points demonstrating a bit of the absurdity of those who suggest going back to the 1950s wage/tax structure.

https://www.aei.org/publication/dat...and-wage-stagnation-is-a-myth/comment-page-1/

Looking at just average hourly wages — adjusted for inflation using the Consumer Price Index (CPI) — shows that earnings increased only 5.58 percent since 1964. However, this statistic and others like it are misleading because they do not factor in new forms of growing employee compensation and they overstate the erosion of purchasing power. Once these contributions are taken into account, a much more clear — and positive — picture of the average incomes surfaces.

the typical factory worker in 1959 would have had to work from January 1 until the middle of June to earn enough (pre-tax) income to purchase those 11 appliances, a worker in 1973 would have had to work from the first of the year until the second week of April, and today’s factory worker would only have to work until the end of January to earn income for those 11 appliances

Greed is a "trickle downer"

I don't think so. It trickles down too slowly and too little. Still too many people who are having a hard time, although I could tell you how everybody's pretty much got it made.

Trickle down is too slow, doesn't work. Forget trickle down. Tie 'em down and just take it.

I thought leftra was just a left wing zealot but I now realize he is a retard

Ok then why do you keep bitching and moaning about needing to raise taxes? And for the record I agree way to much waste in govt spending

2 things I want done, economically: Eradicate corporate subsidies and large increase in minimum wage. I'm sick and tired of insane trickle down economics.

So I'll ask once again. Why do you keep insisting on raising taxes. And lead by example pay your two employees $15/hr

I'm all for the large increase in minimum wage. Bring it on. Imagine automating all those jobs. All the people who would be out of my way in stores and at fast food places. Oh man. If I still had my car, I'd put a Bernie sticker on it. Not the GMC though.

I'm not so much concerned about raising taxes as I am about eliminating corporate subsidies and special tax rates for capital gains. And lead by example yourself by having your own business, or, as an alternative, you can start complaining that the nations top private employer start paying their people more than I do. And let your wife out of the closet, perv.

Companies have been automating jobs for decades. You can't use that as a tactic to scare sane people into worrying about a minimum wage hike.

Yes we have made great advances already with self checkouts. The greatest innovation of all. It's time to take it to the next level with automated fast food. I should be able to push a button, swipe my debit card and out comes a fresh from under the lights double cheeseburger ready to go.

No fuss, no muss. No standing in line, dealing with the 95 workers talking and moving around like they're trying to do Script Ohio back there, no standing around waiting on Molly McFatass to order for her family of 50.

This is my only concern. Not all this other stuff that doesn't affect my day.

Wife has her own photo business. I don't think the retarded greeter at Walmart should make as much a skilled cabinet maker. You do.

Want to introduce me to a Walmart greeter that makes $14/ hour? You appear much smarter when you don't post. You finally let your wife out of the house? Good for you.

So you finally gave your brother a raise from the $10/hr you said you paid them last month
