Joe Manchin: "Due process is killing us"

I do believe Hillary is as crooked as anyone out there, from her days at the Rose Law Firm right up through her years as SOS. I also believe the reason she has never been seriously threatened with being punished is that her and Bill have wielded their influence and positions to eliminate and/or control those many situations that have circled around them, non-stop, for the last 30 or so years.

If you're a governor and keep the right people happy, appoint the right people, you and your wife are not going to get truly investigated for anything. If you are President you are the nation's top cop and have full control of the Justice Department. When you are SOS with an ex-prez husband who can raise money like no one else, you are going to be protected.

I mean look at the reality. The State Department, with a straight face, told investigators it would take them 75 years to produce the emails from three of Hillary's employees at the State Department. In what universe would anyone with a small fraction of a brain believe it would take 75 years to produce the emails of three people that they created over a 4 year period? No company or individual could tell a government investigator that it would take them 75 years to produce requested documents in a legal action and have them say "Okay, I guess we can't get them then". The only way that happens is if the DOJ is not really interested in getting to the bottom of the case.

With that said, that is all my opinion based on everything I've observed since 1992. Yes, I believe she is a crook, and a major one at that. That in no way means that I want to deny her the right to defend herself, but she shouldn't be able to, with the help of the Obama administration, control the investigation process. Basically this whole email thing has been like letting a person charged with murder process their own dna evidence and then just taking their word on the results.

Extras problem is that he can't differentiate between guys on a message board debating their opinion and the federal govt taking away rights. he only thinks in absolutes which is why he can do nothing but ask the same question over and over. Maybe he can borrow Hilary's reset button

Joe may be worse than a "Democrat". He does what he is told to do, without exception, by the Dems

yeah, he's so far left, wait, no...

If you can believe the court decision shouldn't be ignored, you should then wait for a court decision. Moron.

So it is your opinion that no one should be allowed to have opinions. Got it.

You just really don't realize how stupid you sound in some of these posts, do you?

It doesn't matter what party he from the fact remains we have a sitting US senator saying due process is a problem

I still can't believe Democrats picked Hillary as their nominee. For everything Democrats swear they despise, she's pretty much the embodiment of it. Incapable of any form of authenticity, voted twice for the Iraq war, is close to GWB, supported DOMA, has slut-shamed rape victims, is beholden to Wall Street, has amassed a carbon footprint worse than literally 99.999% of every person who has ever lived, ever, & loves war. Holy crap does this woman love war - which directly benefits the "military industrial complex."

And I can't believe there are women dumb enough to vote for her simply because she's a woman. Like somehow things will get better for women in this country if she's President. How's that worked out for blacks under Obama?

Plus, women hate each other. When they blindly gang up to support to one, be extra weary - that is not normal behavior.

Do you, unconditionally, all the time?

Yes or no, black and white. Give me a no sh!t answer.

You wouldn't understand an answer like that. You don't get to make statements like this: "Extra must, in all absolution, agree and defend the 5th Amendment. Otherwise, he wouldn't argue in a 4 page thread that Hillary is innocent until being charged." and then ASK me if I unconditionally support the 5th. Get lost.

I already know that. And you have that opinion regardless of the fact that she's never been found guilty of any of it. She's the smartest criminal in the world.

I have the opinion that if presented with the opportunity I'd **** the hell out of Jessica Alba even though I have never been in that situation.

You consider these big Wall Street bankers to be crooked, but they've never been convicted of anything. So I'm guessing you are willing to concede that none of the folks on Wall Street had anything to do with the economic collapse of 2008-09? It really was only that one low level guy that got convicted. You can just simply type "Yes, since none of those Wall Street bankers were found guilty of anything I fully believe they are not crooks".

Feel free just to copy and paste that so you don't have to type it yourself.

There's often a difference between unethical and criminal you moron. Feel free to check into it.

But you've waxed poetic on this board about how they should be in jail. So just to be clear, you don't believe they did anything illegal, just unethical? Do you also believe then that people should be jailed for unethical behavior?

Yes, they SHOULD be in jail IF there were proper laws in effect, but seems there is not so nothing illegal, so no crime committed.

People should be jailed if their unethical behavior is against the law and warrants a jail sentence.

Same for Hillary. When she became SOS Bill increased his fees for speaking and was hired by companies to speak that needed State Dept help.

Not what I asked but I'd expect nothing less from you. And I can honestly say I've never done anything unethical in my professional career

So, you've never come to work late, never left early, never took an extra minute or two for break, never disrespected a co-worker on the job or off, you've never failed to report any failure of your coworkers to follow company policy, and you've never failed to honor a commitment? Sorry, ain't buying that.

I fvcking salaried dude, not for long thanks to obamas new overtime rules but that's a topic for another day, but being late isn't remotely unethical. Using connections as sec of state to increase donations to your foundation that's unethical being late not so much

So based on your beliefs, if I have a flat tire on the way to work, making me 20 minutes late, I have officially become unethical.

the fact that it takes 10 people in this thread to explain "unethical" to a Lib is all you really need to know about the world we live in...

Not so much as 10 conservatives who believe that showing up for work late is ethical behavior.

Extra what do you do if your brother in law shows up late

What would your employer do if you make a habit out of showing up late for work? What would your employer do if you make a habit out of showing up late for business meetings?

What if an employer told his employees he was switching them to a new pay structure that depended on the company's success & then that owner spent literally every second of the day posting to a message board, wasting time that could be better used figuring out how to grow the company? That ethical?

Did the new pay structure ( the result of the owner's plan to grow the company ) result in the employees making more money and growing the business )?

Being habitually late and being late once or twice aren't remotely the same thing. Being habitually late deserves firing. You said being late for work is unethical then You change the argument to being ha usually late. That's an apples and oranges comparison

Anyone with any sense at all would understand that if it can't be reasonably prevented that it wouldn't be unethical to be late for work. Would there be any occasion that would be unethical if it couldn't be prevented? I incorrectly considered that I was talking to people that would understand that. But when it's without a valid reason, being late one single time is still an unethical behavior. I have not changed the argument.

And another thing don't try to play that you know what I meant crap. You are the king of taking every post on here and making t black and white. You said being late for work is unethical period end of sentence. You made no mention of being habitually late. I'm just doing what you do to every one else. Taking your word exactly as posted
