Just curious what your medical premium for health insurance costs you each month and what your coverage is.

My wife is a teacher, so not a whole lot and really good. Our portion for a family plan is about $300 a month for a typical Anthem 80/20 plan with prescription, dental and eye. $20 copay and $10 copay on meds.

$450 a month for me a my son.

$20 Copay for doctor visit in Network.

I can't remember what the deductible is.
I think 80/20

Since I retired I am on Cobra....(coverage for both wife and me)
90/10 Coverage
Medical Premium - $1322.03 / month
Annual deductible - $2600.00
Out of pocket maximum - $4000.00
Preventive care - 100%
Copay - Office visits - $20.00
Copay - Specialist - $35.00

I pay $20.52 a week. $500 deductible, $25 co-pay,10% coinsurance up to $1,000. Maximum out of pocket liability is $6,350. Paying for just me.

I work for a large hospital system my deductible, out of pocket max etc changes depending on where I receive services, in hospital network, bcbs network, or out of network
-$146.93 biweekly premium for family
-$1500 deductible
-$6350 OOP max
-20% co insurance
- $20 copay $40 for specialist.

I do not have a traditional "health coverage", since according to the government I am an "independent contractor" (1099 employee), but we use a "Health Care Sharing" co-op. My "premium" is $402 a month.

I am suprised that others have not participated in this thread since medical premiums, benefits, etc. have been a major topic in the US this past couple of years.

Guys in the ghetto named Taz typically do not sell health insurance.
